     About WV Dance's Instructors

Craig Giffin is an accomplished dancer in both smooth and Latin forms of dance and has trained regionally, nationally, and internationally for over eight years in ballroom dancing.  When he's not dancing, Craig also practices law.  Craig has received instruction in both the Fred Astaire and Arthur Murray styles of dance.  Internationally, Craig has taken dancing instruction in such far flung places as Buenos Aires, Argentina, Cairo, Egypt, and Melbourne Australia.  Some of the dancing events and training sessions that Craig has attended include the 2002 CITA Argentine Tango Festival in Buenos Aires, Argentina and also the 2005 Corn Palace Polka Festival in Mitchell, South Dakota.  In 2005 Craig also joined and began his participation in Dancers at Sea -- an organization that teaches ballroom dancing on cruise ships worldwide.  Craig recently returned from his second Dancers at Sea cruise--a January 2007 trip to the Caribbean islands of Puerto Rico, St. Thomas, St. Martin, and Grand Turk.  Locally, Craig is a member of USA Dance, the Passepied Club, the Academy Club, and the Latin Club.
